Aglahi | Sphere 5 | Nature preserve, zoo, and culture

Aglahi is a sparsely populated wilderness region located in the northern reaches of Sphere 5 on the island of Luxersom. With a population of fewer than 3,000 inhabitants, it is among the least populated regions in the country. Much of Aglahi is protected land designated as a vast nature preserve known collectively as the Carradil Wilds, or simply the Wilds.

The region is defined by dense forests, rugged mountain terrain, hidden cave systems, and a rich variety of wildlife. Aglahi is also home to the Ancorian peregrine, the national bird of Ancoria, a distinctive peregrine falcon whose striking blue-and-gold plumage sets it apart from the more common blue-gray varieties found elsewhere.

Landmarks

Ralek’s Bend

The primary settlement in Aglahi is Ralek’s Bend, a small cultural community situated along the western coastline at the mouth of Golie Carradil. The area is inhabited primarily by descendants of the Aglahi Tribe, who maintain a distinct cultural identity within Ancoria.

The Carradil Wilds or “The Wilds”

The region is dominated by the Carradil Mountains, a dramatic range of forested peaks and ridges that shelter extensive cave systems beneath them. A key geographic feature is Golie Carradil, a river that flows down from the mountains and runs westward across the northern edge of Oro Valle before emptying into the sea crossing Ralek’s Bend.

Major geographic landmarks include Carradil Mountains, Carradil Hills, Mt. Kari, and Carradil Caves.

The Carradil Wilds remain one of the most ecologically intact landscapes in Ancoria.
