ARQ
A lot of my books are set in an alternate world that mirrors what our own world would be if these countries existed: Ancoria, Rossien, and Qranth (ARQ).
The world ARQ exists in is shaped by the same continents, oceans, histories, and global rhythms but with one crucial divergence: the existence of three sovereign nations unknown to our recorded history: Ancoria, Rossien, and Qranth.
These nations are fully integrated participants in global politics, trade, culture, and conflict. However, Ancoria, Rossien, and Qranth were never formally classified under any of the seven continents. They are recognized as sovereign nations and collectively as forming a distinct geopolitical and cultural region, often referred to as The Atlantic Triad or more simply as ARQ.
This world operates under the same physical laws as our own world. Gravity, time, biology, and geography behave as expected. However, history diverged early enough for Ancoria, Qranth, and Rossien to emerge as independent nations with their own ancient lineages, belief systems, and political structures.
