Powerful! I love the way the author makes scripture come to life in story form. In this way, the lessons sink deeper into my heart and life. I see this book as a call to arms for Gods people to step up and step out.

When one has been in darkness for a prolonged period, light becomes painful. It burns.
Without my light, I was no longer appealing to him. Just another one of his conquests.
Sometimes, we cannot rely only on what we see. We need to look beyond what’s in front of us. Stay on guard.
Ultimately, you arise a warrior… One willing to brave the darkness, trusting His glorious light will keep shining in you and through you.
I found this book enlightening and encouraging, resulting in many highlighted passages. I'm so glad I found this author!

If you want a new devotional experience, I highly recommend 'The Warrior Bride'. You will walk away with a deeper understanding that we are all called in the great commission and we must get ourselves prepared and be watchful.
