TOWTA Review #3
Joanna Alonzo adds a fresh and unique voice to Christian romance... The main characters are far from perfect, but are very believable and likeable... I'd say it's a "Don't Miss This One" kind of book.

THE ONE WHO TRIPPED AWAY — I loved the characters and how their back stories are written. The reconciliations between families and of course, the mercy and grace extended to one another.

I read this book through the night wanting these two to discover each other. If you like clean sweet inspiring stories you will enjoy 'The One Who Shot Away'.

THE ONE WHO SHOT AWAY -- I loved this story of theirs! Read the disclaimer at the beginning, as Alonzo attacked a rough topic. She did it gracefully, with Christ at the forefront.

THE ONE WHO SHOT AWAY -- Yet what I've come to love about this series is the reminder that there's no sin or struggle bigger than the other, and that rather we're all Prodigals in need of God's grace for our lives. He truly meets us in the midst of our struggles, pain, questions, or disappointments, and reminds us that He showed His love for us through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, where He paid it all for us.

This has got be my favorite of the Prodigals Once series for me... I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and seeing a different side to Knox Cartier I haven't seen from another book in the same installment but in Nova's POV.

The One Who Shot Away brings to light a challenging issue facing many people today - well, more than one issue - and she handles the topics with grace and truth. If you are looking for a clean romance to sweep you away, I thoroughly recommend this book.

WOW!!!! Joanna Alonzo once again took a "difficult" subject and allowed GOD to use her!! Jeremy and Rachel's story is not your "normal" Christian Fiction but I can honestly say I felt God's Grace while reading their story.

For me, it emphasized the reality that we are all broken people in need of God and apart from Him we are of no purpose at all. I'd say that this book addresses struggles in our walk with Christ that aren't talked about much or are very much shunned by many and the fact that the author addressed it in the book made it really amazing and helpful.
