KotCI Review #4
KING OF THE CROWN IMPERIALS -- It's such a beautiful, grace-filled story highlighting God's work in the lives of His children. Add to it the fact that it features a Queen Esther retelling coupled with the Royals and Fake Dating tropes, and this book had me picking it up every chance I could!

PRODIGALS ONCE -- "Prodigals Once" was the perfect conclusion to this beautiful series. It's unique in that very few books show how the couples that have already found their HEA are doing down the road (be it after their engaged and/or married years down the road.) For that, I was both looking forward to and dreading reading this book, yet Joanna Alonzo pulled it off beautifully

THE ONE WHO TRIPPED AWAY — The One Who Tripped Away was the story (and reminder) I didn't know I needed. Hannah and Knox's story wasn't one I particularly looked forward to after finishing The One Who Wrote Away, and thus, I certainly related to Hannah's character at the beginning of this book... There are certainly two sides to every story, and Knox's was heartbreaking (just as I imagined it'd be.) It was interesting though, to realize that all along most of his choices had come from his wrestling to come to the Light.

THE ONE WHO SHOT AWAY -- Yet what I've come to love about this series is the reminder that there's no sin or struggle bigger than the other, and that rather we're all Prodigals in need of God's grace for our lives. He truly meets us in the midst of our struggles, pain, questions, or disappointments, and reminds us that He showed His love for us through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, where He paid it all for us.

THE ONE WHO DANCED AWAY -- The One Who Danced Away was such a sweet story! I loved Max and Jenna, and how through all of life's journey, they found God and each other.

THE ONE WHO WROTE AWAY — This is a beautiful story of a bookworm hero that fell in love with the parkour heroine that had always been right in front of him... At times heartbreaking yet always hopeful and interwoven with a beautiful redemptive thread, I think this is a book (and series) I'll keep coming back to throughout the years.

THE ONE WHO ROCKED AWAY -- Nolan and Serene's story just grabbed me from the first pages, if not the blurb, and never let go. I definitely wondered about them whenever I had to put the book down, and just couldn't read fast enough, though I didn't want to reach the end at the same time.
