You have experienced the kingdom of God. You have been among His people, gathered with them, communed with them, been wounded by them. The kingdom child has learned to love and be loved by God and by His other children. You belong to His family of believers, and you have embraced your role in it, a role that sometimes requires you to lead and to feed the lambs — His sheep — whom He has entrusted to you. His kingdom is beautiful, and you rejoice in your part in it. However, there is yet a mission at hand — a mission you must accomplish. You can’t just remain in His kingdom among His people. You are tasked with advancing His kingdom. To be light in darkness.
For that to happen, you obey His call to step in the darkness as His light, a candle that must maintain its flame no matter how the fickle winds of the world blow.
To reach the fullness of who you have to become to be counted among the Bride of Christ, you must first be tested in the crucible of suffering, where your resolve is melted, your heart allowed to break, so you could be made whole again.
Ultimately, you arise a warrior.
One who can take a stand for righteousness amid persecution, trials, and suffering. One willing to brave the darkness, trusting His glorious light will keep shining in you and through you.

The days are dark and hatred grows.
Scripture speaks of a bride who is ready, one who has been given authority to tread on serpents and scorpions. It remains a mystery to you what it means to exercise such authority. You wonder what price you must pay, what sacrifice must be made for you to emerge out of trial and temptation, a warrior bride.
So, despite not knowing, you follow the Commander of the angel armies, the One Whom you know as Beloved and King. He is the Leader you are willing to follow anywhere.
If these words are true of you, if it awakens in you a desire to rise a warrior, brave in heart, and loyal to the King of Glory no matter the cost, the Warrior Princess being molded to become a Warrior Bride is you.
I pray this book will stir in you a hunger and thirst for righteousness, as well as a strong sense of identity, destiny, and purpose, so when the enemy tries to steal your inheritance and birthright as the King’s Beloved, you know how to contend for what the King has said is rightfully yours. May this devotional expand your heart for the lost, for the captives, for those who yet need to hear the Good News of the Kingdom of God. I pray that in her dive into the darkness as an ambassador of light, The Warrior Bride will awaken in you the understanding and wisdom necessary to prepare for the return of the King, so that in His return, you will be among those ready to fight, and ready to rule and reign with Him.
We shine with Him. We battle with Him.
Until we reach the complete manifestation of the victory Christ has won at the cross.
Contend, Warrior Bride.
