Through Truth, Art

Perched on the rising slopes of the Yana Quarter, the Oro Valle School of the Arts (OVSA) is a dual-level institution offering both secondary education and university degrees in the fields of film, acting, journalism, photography, and media arts. Celebrated as one of the most prestigious creative academies in Luxersom, OVSA is more than a school — it is a launchpad for truth-tellers, visionaries, and cultural architects.
Founded in 1958 by Solène Ravelin, a bold documentarian and cultural theorist, OVSA began as an arts conservatory for young creatives who didn’t fit the mold of conventional education. Ravelin’s vision was simple but radical: to cultivate truth through art, and to train storytellers not just in technique, but in conviction.
Today, OVSA is structured into two divisions: a selective high school that nurtures emerging talent through rigorous artistic and academic instruction, and an accredited university that grants undergraduate and graduate degrees across various creative disciplines. Its sprawling campus — featuring state-of-the-art classrooms and dormitories as well as zopen-air amphitheaters, soundproofed glass studios, and panoramic editing labs — sits beside Oro Valle’s most iconic theaters and film studios, where students often apprentice in real-world productions.
Over the decades, OVSA has shaped some of the country’s most acclaimed actors, award-winning journalists, documentary filmmakers, and cultural critics. Its alumni shape headlines, stages, and screens across Luxersom and beyond. Yet within its ivy-wrapped halls, the atmosphere remains fiercely intentional — not a race for celebrity, but a commitment to creative integrity.
At OVSA, students learn that in a city of stars, the brightest light is not the one that shines for applause but the one that tells the truth.
