I don’t understand, LORD. And I fear.
But I trust You enough to lay it all at the foot of Your throne, for I know that You will not allow the wolves to devour the lambs.
Take the lead, oh Wise Shepherd, for we are as deft as sheep, and we merely follow Your voice and submit ourselves to the guidance of Your staff. We are just Your sheep, following our Good and Beloved Shepherd, praying… hoping that the lambs will learn to follow… not us, LORD, but You.
Silence these doubts, LORD. Drive away these fears. Let Your peace calm my soul.
