Rossien is a tiny island country located in the Atlantic Ocean. Its surrounding countries are Ancoria and Qranth in the northeast.

Rossien is composed of five domains: four islands and one islet. Its smallest island is Pieve Nuit (Little Snow in Sorma).

People of Rossien

The inhabitants of Rossien are referred to collectively as Rossienos, with “Rossieno” serving as both a neutral and masculine form, and “Rossiena” as its feminine counterpart.

A former pirate kingdom, it became a refuge for those trying to escape either Ancoria or Qranth for any reason. Because of this, its population is highly diverse.

Government of Rossien

Rossien is a monarchy, with its Rahkan (king) or Kajani (queen) reigning with the Council of Tides, following the bloodlines of the crew of Rossien’s first pirate king, Mikrael “Rael” Ravella.

Trusted overseers — qaphtans — are assigned to every subdomain of each domain under a member of the Tide Council or Tidelords for short.
